Changes can be made in our economy by interaction with one another on this
great site, lets flow in the below ocean of serious educative
discussion...premature combustion of petrol in car engines causes
knocking of the engine which leads to loss in power of the car..
pb tetra-ethyl[a highly recognised octane booster] is employed to prevent this knocking and substantianly improve the anti-knocking properties of the fuel.
however, during combustion..this pb compound reacts with other addictives in petrol to form a volatile lead halide which comes out of the car exhaust as smoke which causes air pollution and eventually leads to disease such as anaemia, kidney and nervous system disorder and other various respiratory disease..
so,intellectuals in the building, since no industrial chemist or researcher has found a well-defined solution to this problem..which should we utmostly consider?..is it the continous addition of pb[lead] to car engines which leads to pollutuion of environment nd disease OR the use of unleaded petrol which leads to incessant knocking of engines OR should we just continue to live like that OR is there any other thing that can possible be done?
